The D-Link DSL-100DCZ is a PCI-based ADSL modem. It allows a Windows based PC to connect via G.lite or G.dmt ADSL to a DSL provider. Designed for high-speed Internet access andor remote connection to an office LAN, the DSL-100DCZ will support a full range of download speeds up to 8 Mbps for G.dmt and 1.5 Mbps for G.lite. The DSL-100DCZs single RJ-11 port automatically selects the supported line standard and speed. Rate adaptive technology ensures that the connection between the CPE and CO is maintained at the highest speed possible. Strict adherence to the relevant ANSI and ITU standards ensures the highest compatibility with providers Central Office (CO) DSL equipment. True Plug and Play support makes this PCI version 2.2 ADSL modem fast and easy to install. An intuitive software interface run on the client allows a user or installer to configure the necessary VCI, VPI, and other ATM settings. Included diagnostics simplify installation troubleshooting. The card can be pre-configured to a specific providers DSL settings to ensure that the end-user experiences the simplest installation possible.
